DNA & RNA Extraction Services
Plasmid Extractions (part of the Rapid Sequencing Service)
Don't have time to extract your own plasmid for your Sanger sequencing or Whole Plasmid Nanopore Sequencing, then submit your overnight bacterial cultures and we'll do the extraction for you. Our high-throughput plasmid extraction service uses SPRI bead-based technology to deliver clean, sequencing-ready plasmid DNA from bacterial cultures, rapidly and at scale.
We Accept:
- Bacterial cultures (submitted in 96-well plate format or individual tubes) - 1mL of overnight culture (grown for approx. 16 hours) or a pea-sized cell pellet.
Nucleic Acid Extractions
For NGS workflows and other applications requiring high-yield, ultra-pure DNA or RNA, our Nucleic Acid Extraction service provides an end-to-end solution. Standard extraction services produce genomic DNA or total RNA but we are also able to support high molecular weight DNA and miRNA extractions. Our scientists have processed thousands of samples and deliver consistently high-quality nucleic acids at speed in our dedicated laboratory facilities.
This service is available as a standalone offering or as part of a complete NGS project, integrating directly with our Whole Genome Sequencing, RNA-Seq, Metagenomics, Ultra Long DNA Sequencing, qPCR, STR Typing and other services.
Sample Types Accepted:
A broad range of sample types are supported. We have extracted from a range of standard sample types including Blood (whole or fractions), Saliva, Buccal Swabs, Stool, Tissue (snap frozen or preserved), FFPE, Cells (pellets, culture and supernatants) and environmental samples, as well as some more unusual materials.
