Professor William L Irving
Title: Professor and Honorary Consultant in Virology at the University of Nottingham and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust since 2002.

Professor William Irving has practised as a consultant clinical virologist at the Queenโs Medical Centre, Nottingham, since 1990. He has extensive experience in the field of viral hepatitis and blood-borne viruses.
Dr Nik Mahida

Dr Nik Mahida has practised as a consultant microbiologist and infection control doctor at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust since 2017. Nik works as a full time medical microbiologist at Nottingham. He has an interest in complex infections, particularly in immunosuppressed groups and provides specialist infection management advice to the Nottingham tertiary Haematology bone marrow transplant centre.
